I wanted a surreal collage of various African things. The lady in the center is supposed to have the face of Congolese actress Joelle Kayembe. (I have sometimes used her face in the past for a character who was supposed to be a wandering sorceress living in ancient times, but the "sorceress" part doesn't come across clearly here.)
