I'll offer a tip. If you pin a collection of your favorites, they will quickly pick up likes. When I did, my best work went from less than 20 likes on average to between 50 and 125 in under a month. NC only promotes your art for a day, and new art is at the top of the "recent" tab. You arrange the pinned collection in any order. I keep my rearranged with the most likes at the top, except for personal favorites. My personal favorite, at the top, went from 12 likes when I pinned it, to almost 100 in a couple of weeks
