Their starships had long been grounded, rotting with the rest of the fragments of civilization. The planet itself seemed to mourn the absence of its inhabitants, abandoned and forsaken in the depths of time.

In the silence of abandonment, the torment raged inside of Adrastea's mind. What horrors had befallen Vendikar in her absence? What cataclysms had torn the fabric of civilization asunder, leaving naught but sorrow and decay in their wake?
