Is there a trend I'm missing out on? I've seen a few monochrome/barely colored portraits lately and am wondering if I should jump in and give it a try as well. This one is particularly lovely. Great face with the almost imperceptible tints on the lips and cheeks. Ethereal garments are always a win. And hair? Magnificent. Somehow the loss of color lends itself to much more dimension. The shadows highlight the curls (yes I know that's oxymoronic) and define them in a really attractive manner. Finally, skin! What would normally be porcelain is now closer to flawless stone. Exquisite! /ovation/
