The rotting carcass of an electrocuted rodent finally lead her to the hole in the wall. The poor critter had managed to poke a rat-sized hole in one of the fences, just big enough to stick in a dead branch and yank.

Ashildr certainly was no expert in electric fences, but she knew that sticks and stones definitely could break bones and other structures. The glass creaked, the wires sizzled, and in a few seconds the wall came shattering down, some sparks still sizzling and flying into the night like the last breath of a defeated guard, exhaling his soul into the void.

She smiled, content with herself.
