1) Um... Not really. It was physically meant to be a third eye.
+ There is a lizard that naturally has a third eye that does not open.
+ The narrower of a spectrum that an eye with a simple lens can detect, then the crisper its vision.

So...

2. Suppose a creature's binocular vision saw, say Red + Green as crisp B&W...
3. But that creature had a third, monocular eye that saw 7 primary colors, instead of the human 3 primary colors?

Well...

Obviously, AI giggled at that notion! And I got the base image for this duo instead! [Basically, I took a "mistake" and repurposed it!]
