The Little Cheese House in the Village of Wormland

In every hole dwells a little worm, which in Spring slowly awakens; it is the most perilous time for the little cheese house.

With the warm weather of Summer the little worms come alive and dig happily as their pits get softer and softer;

with Autumn then they begin to slow down as the world reddens and the leaves fall, and finally

in Winter the little worms slumber, and the cheese house at last coalesces, again firm and solid, settles and allows no more messes.
