Winifred met them at the entrance. She smiled warmly.
“Peace, Sister Helena, peace Sister Petronilla. I'm so glad you could join us this afternoon,” she said as she flashed a new sign to them. Using her thumb and her pointer finger she made a circle, leaving the other three to point to the sky.
Helena recognized it as a symbol that an Indian cult led by a teenage guru in the 1970’s.
“Probably just a coincidence,” she thought. She and Fairbairn did their best to reciprocate the gesture, which Winifred deemed satisfactory.
“Peace to you, Winifred,” the two women replied.
“Matilda is eager to see you. Come with me please.”
They walked towards the stone area where Helena and Fairbairn underwent the trial of water and fire a few days prior.

They passed through the camp. A teenage girl was weaving what looked a cloth with the sunburst symbol. She was singing:
*Rock me gently in your arms,/
Wrap me deep within your charms.
Carry me to realms above—/
Your celestial halls of love.
Let me taste your wisdom sweet,/
As I bow and kiss your feet./
Lady of the boundless skies,/
Come and claim your waiting prize.
I am but a vessel fair,/
Yours to shape and proudly bear./
I surrender all I own—/
Take me to your star-bound throne.
For your knowledge, vast and wide,/
Pours like stars across the tide./
All my sorrows fade away,/
When you grace us with your day.
