The Messenger Colossus

“Messenger Colossus is enormous, but size isn't what worries me. What worries me is how gentle it can be until something threatens its territory. I’ve seen it carefully move broken machinery aside without crushing anything beneath it, which tells me that it has incredible control over its strength. That protective instinct is still there, only amplified. It seems to consider the entire facility its responsibility, and it will sometimes carry smaller creatures away from danger rather than attacking whatever caused the danger. I can respect that. I'm protective by nature myself, and there's something almost reassuring about seeing a creature so powerful choose restraint. The safest response is to remain calm, stay low, and never approach its feet or wings. If it begins looking for you, don't hide in a dead end. Give yourself room to retreat, because Colossus can destroy barriers without slowing down.”
