TOO FAR (+ Polyphonic Prose)

They were taking them all, for unjust crimes and swift trials. When the storm hit hard, the plane sharply veered off, for hundreds of miles.

Still there, only by chance, when his plane crashed… his leg was awfully gashed, and his right hand badly smashed.

There was no one, none, like a time capsule, where there was no warmth or even sun. Silent shelter from the bitter cold, but only remnants from an ancient city, with a story still untold.

It was far too north for assistance or first aid. He thought, “They’ll never find me here!” as he started to fade. “I will be known... it cannot stop here! The fears and struggles caused too many tears! So many have suffered, been tortured and died, but many more allies will stand by my side. Our freedom movement will not be denied!”

All his friends and comrades were lost on that plane, but he now became numbed to most of his pain. The cold and the wind soon reclaimed their domain, now no one ever will remember his name.
