Speed West Racing, Episode 1.69: Qualifying Day Ends, Sabine Is Finally Ready to Talk to Suze

Suze: "Wow, Sabine, that was a masterclass of a lap! We saw you with your mum after you got out of the car and we apologize for eavesdropping, but it was obviously an emotional moment for you."

Sabine: "Oh, yeah, sorry about that. I was just so relieved and exhausted when I got out of the car, I just had no composure or reserve left."

Suze: "Oh, no worries, Sabi. I should think you're allowed. I think I speak for so many here that we were thrilled by the lap and touched by the moment with your mum. That had to be an amazing full-circle moment to share with your mum, the Olympic gold medalist. Was that how you felt?"

Sabine: "Absolutely, Suze. My dad taught me how to be a race driver and a motorsports professional, but the spirit I drive with, the fierceness, the aggression, that's my mom and the way she used to attack a ski slope. But, if I start thanking everyone who had a part in making this lap happen, we'll be here all day. I was at the wheel, but this belongs to the team."
