No One Knows Where the Love of Fae Goes . . .

Forget what you've heard about the world of faerie culled from the Disney movies and the stories your mother read to you. Fae are not as sweet or as prurient as you might have always thought. In fact, the fae are lusty and well known to seduce, deceive and ravish.

The love and affection of faeries is complicated. It is not simply a matter of humans falling in love with the fae, either. Sometimes, it is the fae who do the falling in love and they are fairly ruthless about how they do it.

There is nearly always a price to pay for the pleasure and privilege of loving a fae. If it is not abandonment, the lover will instead sicken and die for longing, will be trapped in fairy land for ever or, after enjoying great pleasure, will return home to find that not hours and days have passed as imagined, but years and decades; all those known are distant or dead and the world is changed irrevocably.
