Adaptation

Ooh, I like this one. Doesn't look too far off from out future does it?

Yeah, I see this and think it's just *slightly* less traffic that's already on the streets. Doesn't even look like rush hour yet. Too many people crowded on streets. This is why I hate and avoid cities. 

There's a way to limit that though. Randomly and not ever in the same spot a large square part of the sidewalk opens up and swallows a bunch never to be seen again. Effectively cuts down the crowd. They'll be either be to scared and stay home or if not, the population will be slowly trimmed.
