Wonderful photograph, your black and white works always hold my attention. Perhaps its the simplicity or the emphasis on lighting, either way, my eyes wander around the image and take in every texture and nuance to connect with the subject. 🥰👏❤️👍

Whatever it is resonating for you with these particular images perhaps it derives from how close the inspiring medium is to my creative soul. 

Black and White photography *was* my first expressive craft and I have never set it down for long. So, perhaps what you recognize is a sense of authenticity in so far as these images are representative of the expressive intentions behind them. 

Perhaps that is the case. After all, the desire to express is the first impulse, the choice of medium is more a practical choice. What is available and can I achieve what I want through this medium. I was lucky to be able to express my ideas relatively well with a pencil on paper from an early age. Then I added a range of other mediums to my artist’s tool box, photography, print-making, painting, digital design, interior design. It’s all just expressing ourselves with different mediums. Now it’s ai. What I find thoroughly enchanting is seeing other people being able to express themselves for the first time, when in the past they ‘couldn’t draw’ or ‘couldn’t take a picture’ now the medium is giving them a voice they didn’t think they could ever have. So much unrealised expression and creativity. You and I are lucky, we have been able to create and express ourselves for decades, but so many others haven’t. 

Wild woman are an unexplainable spark of life. They ooze freedom and seek awareness, they belong to nobody but themselves yet give a piece of who they are to everyone they meet.

If you have met one, hold on to her, she'll allow you into her chaos but she'll also show you her magic.

She was born to be free, let her run wild in her own way and you will never lose her.
