(These are just very brief character sketches for a work in progress, concerning a rather shabby detective agency. As a writer, I find that this helps me when I'm in the planning stages.)
When life in the suburbs gets boring and you run out of things to say to your husband's idiot co-workers, there's always detective work. The work can be tedious and sometimes sad but she enjoys helping people. Her affair with Mike Kinderman is a fringe benefit.
