I have a few questions if you don’t mind answering them and I wish this site had a dm option lol
I'd love to be of help, and dm's might be nice lol
So I created a coherent and for what it seams it’s based on a string of different prompts to create a nice final image does the start image have a huge impact on the final image. And do people keep evolving the final image over and over until they get something really nice? Sorry this message is so long
This is far from the longest question I've had in the comments, no worries. haha. Sorry for delay in response, I was driving for a bit, then didn't see this comment first.
So to answer your question, yes, the start image will have a big impact, and the strength of the image and noise will impact that further. Most of the time I put noise relatively high, and you can still see the outcomes of the start image. Everything from structure to color. It will change those prompts quite a bit, by introducing a strong element of guidance for the prompts. Second, I don't, but some do. I have found with very bright colors, especially bright oranges, yellows, reds, when evolved sometimes can really come through more than I personally would want. Also some structures may become "too defined" for my taste. So instead of evolving the same image over and over I will personally tweak my prompts and weights until I get what I want. Others evolve over and over. It's all dependent on taste.
That said you'll probably need to find what works for you in particular. I know a few people have told me I have a "noticeable style", and this is probably due to how I handle evolving and duplicating. By doing it through prompts and tweaks, and getting sharper images through enhancement afterwards. Also, as a side note, sometimes I will choose a progress image instead of the final and evolve that with tweaked prompts and weights to see if that will work for me. It usually does, as those are "less refined" by the process, and don't give me such sharp and contrasting changes. Which again, that's a personal taste thing, not any sort of hard rule I'd recommend. Just the way I do things.
So, basically, I'm saying yes and no, it depends on what you want and what you like. It's all going to be up to your personal preferences. But I do hope this helps.
Thank you so much for the response I’m truly grateful I’m asking questions to prevent or limit the amount of credits I blow since I just starting out and don’t have many to begin with so with that being said thank for your time and keep up with the amazing work that you’re producing 🤩🤩🤩🤩
My pleasure, always happy to help. I recommend hitting the social media credits if possible. I started an Instagram account just for that. Didn't take long following and hashtagging a handful of images to get enough followers. An extra 30 credits a day really boosted me hard. Admittedly I also have bought large credit packs, but that was when I wanted to "go hard" on experimenting. I burned 5,000 credits in a few days, and published less than 40% of those creations. Since then though, I've had a much, much higher publishing rate. But that's definitely something that not everybody needs to do, haha. Which again is why I leave my prompts open and try to help where I can. I'd also recommend going to the discord, and looking up the various artist, weight and style comparisons published online, not only by NightCafe themselves, but also users. I found many through google and it saved me thousands of credits in the long run. :) I'm going to make some of those posts myself, eventually.
Aw, thank you! That's very kind of you to say. :)
Ah, thanks! I will admit that they're a mix of original research, borrowed, and "found" online from various sources. Been finding through experimentation what works for what I want, and that's why I leave my prompts open. That is that I hope that others won't have to spend hundreds of credits experimenting like I did if they like this style. haha.
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I wanted to give it a name that gives some hope, and shows the beauty that can be found in "destruction," though in reality that's just the nature of, well, nature. haha. Much appreciate your comment. Thank you. :)
I think the user means that the creation got all the way up to Top Hourly, so that would be what I would assume haha, even though my comment is kind of random here lol. But I just wanted to look at the Top creations, and this image is so epic! :)
I instantly thought of MJ Earth Song video. Insanely brilliant.
I haven't thought of that in ages. I remember when that came out, haha. Thanks, and man I am old. lol :D
Haha I am showing my own age too- I love Michael and that video is a masterpiece. Great stuff <3
Agreed on MJ and that video. I don't know your age though. ;) Thanks. :)
Thank you! I much appreciate that. I tend to "recycle" my prompts, but I really like the expressionistic/oil painting feel I get from this prompt set. :)
It's very cool. Particularly how the smoke came out.
Thanks, that's really due to the start image. If you look at the parts of the image that contrast more, the dark spots in particular, and match them up to the final you can actually see how the start image guided the AI to put dark spots in those places. That combined with prompts for smoke really brought it out. I mean it's part luck for sure, but Coherent algorithm allows enough of a degree of control that you can see the outcome from the start. :) I hope we can get that with Stable at some point too. Would be really interesting to see what we can all turn out from that if so.
Awesome! :D thanks for the breakdown!
Haha, you're welcome. Sorry if I went off for no reason. Been discussing it with others, and just went down that tangent.
I mean I'm sure you already knew that, haha. :)
Maybe it's not a disaster? Maybe it's just nature? I don't know. But thank you. Sometimes what we consider destruction can be beautiful. At least I think and hope so. :)
You're right, destruction can be beautiful and it can be for good sometimes. I'm also reminded of a wonderful quote, "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light."
That's a lovely quote. Thanks! :)
Mother Nature, she gives. And she takes.
I finally created a decent coherent thank you so much for the help
Hey I recently started doing AI compilation videos in youtube from artists in NightCafe and I was asking if you would allow me to feature your creations in the next video and keep doing so if I make more videos, I always mention the artist both in the description and in the video if you want you can check my channel linked in my NC account to see how I present them.
Yeah that sounds fine. If you wouldn't mind dropping me a note when you use my images so I can catch your videos, or dropping a link to your channel here, that would be much appreciated. If you'd like I can also send you my upscaled higher res images that I do in post-processing. The images are the same, but simply higher resolution.
My channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0-g9xHbl6AwWU_O46JA_dg ↗️ Oh you edit your creations outside of NC ?
Yes, I've been creating art in various forms for around 30 years. Including painting, sculpture, collage, and digital art. I was very temporarily a professional digital artist, so I use those learned talents to post-process most of my pieces. I don't normally share them, but I do have many upscaled manually, and cleaned up to some degree for my own personal enjoyment.
That's so cool ! Do you happen to have a discord ? Or some otherway I can contact you ?
Yeah, I'm on the NC discord channel. I should be easy to find. Look for quietvolcano on there, and you'll be able to link to my personal Discord profile. I don't love putting that info too publicly because, well I get a ton of spam. heh. If you can't find me there, drop your discord chat here and I'll send you a friend request on there.
🤔 I'm assuming your younger, but the best way to get interaction isn't to ask for it, but rather to interact and provide value for others as well as yourself.
After a fire forest's become very verdant. Not all is lost. :)
5 credits to create, 3 to upscale. So 8 total
your welcome!!❤w❤ how was your day btw? i hope it was good and wonderful, if not i hope it gets better soon<3💐💐💐
It's been crazy but good. Sorry for delay in response. :)
Thank you! I used a lot of great oil painters in the prompts to try to emulate their presence and effect, so I'm glad it shows through. :) Thanks again.
So good, no wonder you have so many followers!
Heh, thank you. This is definitely the one people love most.
perfect pic, brilliant artist, thank you I have to practice more ;-)
Haha, well thank you, you're too kind. 😊 That said, I too need to practice. We're all learning. 😊
Aw, thank you! This is still probably my favorite wildfire picture that I've had turn out. So I'm glad others also enjoy it. :)
Thank you! I love the powerful nature of wildfires to inspire awe. :)
obsessed with all of your coherent creations- love your start images -they're so pretty themselves
Thank you! I really appreciate that, I should publish more of them, as I often still make them, haha. As for the start images, many are unpublished or archived pieces that went unpublished, or I think in this case, may have been generated solely intended to be a start image. Though I sometimes publish those too. XD
I'd love to see this start image published - the colors are gorgeous
I should dig that up, heh. :)
