Fun in the Rain

She wondered why everyone was crowded around the door as she approached. "It's pouring!" she heard someone say. She made her way through the crowd to see herself. A mischievous grin spread across her face as she looked out the door at the heavy rain. It was at least a 10 minute walk through the park to the venue she thought. I'll be soaked, but if I wait I may not make it, she silently said to herself. She pushed the door open and stepped out into the rain. She made her way across the street and down the path into the park. The rain seemed to intensify as she walked along and she giggled as she realized just how wet she was after only being out in the rain a few minutes. Her jacket and top were completely soaked and her jeans were quickly getting just as wet as she continued. She could feel the rain running down her legs and into her boots. By the time she made it to the venue, she was soaked to the skin. She loved walking in the rain and this had turned out exactly how she planned.
