Circe is sly and intelligent, she at first doesn't trust the intentions of Odysseus and his crew but after testing Odysseus's "intention" (if you know the myth than you know) she finds herself suddenly taking a liking to Odysseus and she decides to accompany the mortals on their journey home but it's totally not because she cares about the Greek captain. She meets Aeolus and the two don't get along as they both have their eyes on Odysseus but as the journey continues Circe starts to harbor a small crush on the wind goddess, not that she'd admit that to the talkative deity
