Harvesting lavender was done by women and children before mechanical means were developed. It meant working from sun up to sun down under a hot sun. Better than long hours doing factory or mining work that many children and women had to do then.

:)oh truly awesome...oh seriously love lavender šŖ»šŖ»šŖ» bags in clothes and pillows...back breaking work as most manual labor is hence the industrial revolution as we are going through again with AI and robots, so much so there will perhaps be no more lavender farms at all
