I actually needed a dictionary for this one, so I better put all the relevant stuff in here (maybe not all of them are in all of the prompts ... and not everything in the prompt made it to the images):
xeriscaping - landscaping/gardening in a way to reduce the need for irrigation, see also xeric meaning very dry, from Greek xero- meaning dry
xenial - hospitable (to foreigners/strangers), from Xenia, an ancient Greek concept of hospitality. See also the
xeno- prefix meaning foreign/alien in Xenomorph and
xenodochial - from Greek, friendly to strangers, and
xenacious (which I mispelled in the prompt lol) meaning wanting a change
xilinous cotton-like
xebec a sort of sailing ship
Also, Xanadu was an actual city in China, it's kind of a metaphor for an idyllic place
Also, xanthic means yellowish, anything with xantho- has to do with the color yellow, like xanthophyll is a yellow pigment.
