Spring Struggles to Rouse Winter

Here's the next work with the theme of the changing seasons! After Autumn leaves Winter for the year, she almost immediately drifts off to sleep, the world becoming cold all the while. Oftentimes, Spring will arrive early before the equinox to attempt to wake Winter up with rambunctious vigor, but the storms she creates barely cause a stir. They will increase in frequency and intensity right up until the day of the equinox when Winter finally wakes, and the cherry blossoms bloom when she does. Once the reigns are handed over to Spring and Winter goes on her way, the world remains calm and mild all the way up until Summer's arrival.
