As it drains their life force, it becomes more solid and corporeal, allowing it to attack directly with its razor-sharp claws.

Its most terrifying ability is its capacity to manipulate the minds of its victims. The Ghast can create illusions within the fog, making the player see things that aren’t there or distorting the environment to confuse and disorient them. It can also mimic the voices of loved ones, drawing the player into deadly traps or deeper into the fog where more dangerous creatures await.
