It gets worse. 1) Peter's passive aggressive "best friend," Karl, has an autistic daughter, Arlina. 2) She claims Peter as "Papa Peter." 3) Peter had unsuccessfully wooed her mother. 4) Karl wanted Arlina to adopt Peter. 5) Lovingly destroying Peter's career would render Arlina Peter's only patient: pro bono, no less. 6) Of course, it gets worse...
When he & Karl get hired as staff members for Der Blitzkinder Academia's "remedial program," which deals with "special needs," superpowered children ... including some nonhumans. And "you know who" is one of Papa Peter's students.
