POEM:
Ship sails through the sea, in rain clouds and storm.
Lightning flashes, in all shapes and forms.
A deathly song of thunder, a wicked rock-a-bye,
A wave of pure terror, a fight to survive.
And then with a boom, the sea strongly alive, she falls overboard, she falls into a dive.
Wreckage and destruction and nothing but doom, she fights the ocean currents, seeking for room.
Room for safety, room for refuge, room for rest, room for hope to bloom.
So she then finds a raft, and climbs onto it too, overlooking the scene, where the waters and sky, are no longer crystal blue.
What will happen next? She does not quite know.
She screams for help, waits for light to show.
But until it does, she’s stuck here alone.
Stranded, abandoned, and all alone.
