Octofelicity Lea (Octofelicitous Grazing) /ˌɒktəfɪˈlɪsɪti liː/ | № 5(16)
By numerologists, the number 8 is generally considered to be an auspicious number. The square of any odd number, less one, is always a multiple of 8 (for example, 9 − 1 = 8, 25 − 1 = 8 × 3, 49 − 1 = 8 × 6). In Babylonian myth there were seven spheres plus an eighth realm, the fixed stars, where the gods lived. As a result, 8 is often associated with paradise. In Buddhism 8 is a lucky number, possibly because of the eight petals of the lotus, a plant associated with luck in India.
