thank you! the theme said butterflies or inspired by butterfly colors and patterns, so I created this in mind, with butterfly wing-like hair :))
I personally prefer when creations are not so literal... great job!

Congratulations! I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with all these haters who CLEARLY did not read the challenge criteria. Your entry absolutely was on theme. People can have their own opinions about whether it was "the best" or not but they should keep those opinions to themselves because you got the highest score. Period. Congrats again! šš¦š
the theme description said butterflies or "inspired by the colors and patterns of butterflies" so thats what I did :)) I did butterfly wing like hair, and those blue blobs are supposed to be butterflies lmao
Admitedly that's a cool and beautiful creation, and definitely butterfly inspired... The shapes in this headpiece are definitely butterfly wings inspired, and the intricacy is there. Congrats !

That's very gracious of them - how sad they should feel they have to. We could all dobwith being a more generous - clearly this image gained a majority vote so that majority liked this interpretation. Challenging for anyone to be piled on for a good faith entry. It could put others off joining in š
Well, from my experience; the voters are those who decide what wins. The total amount of votes on submissions are piled into an average rating - to my knowledge at least. But I think it comes down to this, for example; a lot of people who vote might just spam a specific emoji on what they see. Even if the winning creator voted fairly and accordingly, the voters are ultimately the ones who decide in total.
I donāt understand it, and any comments I made, including congratulations have been removed, along with loads of other peopleās comments tooā¦ something smells about this one really!
Oh, the moderators take care of that I think. I mean, I donāt know if the creator is a moderator, but i didnāt know that constructive comments/congratulatory comments were being removed.
I saw that this creator published a more butterfly-like creation with a description apologising for disappointing those who should have won.
I placed near the top in this challenge and I don't have a problem with you taking 1st place, I think it looks sick. We're all just having fun here, no need for all the hostility! Congrats dude!

The prompt said "inspired by..." - this totally qualifies and is beautifully inspired by butterflies with wings through her hair and the bright blue butterflies all around. Obvs others saw this, hence the high marks.

I was kind, giving congratulations, but as many others here have said, I canāt even see the connection to the theme, let alone it being the one most people voted for. As with loads of other peopleās comments here, mine have been removed, including the congratulatory one. I donāt blame the creator at all, but I definitely question the software that is running on this, and in the interest of fairness to some completely amazing images bang on theme ā¦ it may be wise to investigate at least!
Ahh, I understand. I just saw some rude and hostile comments and responded to that - most were unreadable by then - it seemed a bit of a pile on. I did see butterflies in the blue elements, but it appears others did not; it's fascinating that we perceive images so differently and, as you suggest, it is worth exploring.
