The generator shack

Due to the conveniently isolated location of the Hanestery, where Thali is employed, the Hahns must generate their own electric power. Since the 1930's they have run a 6 inch pipe from above this falls, through a small shack which houses a hydro-electric turbine and generator, and out the other side into the pond under the waterfall.

One of Thalia's daily tasks is to climb up to the intake pipe opening above to make sure the grating covering the piope opening is not clogged with debris.
