Tragedy of tenth Thermidor (28. 07. 1794) or death of Liberty

On the 9th Thermidore Robespierre's speech at Convention was interrupted by voices of some deputies.... It was start of coup called "Thermidorian". It was led by "Commissaries" - group of military connected deputies, who were connected with corruption and teror on places. Robespierre and his colleagues (Saint-Just, Couton, Le Bas, Augustine Robespierre) understood their danger and tried to overthrow them - the most fearsome enemies to liberty than even European Monarchs.... That's why Robespierre and Couton established law simplifying process of Tribunal. But foes were more cunning.... Fouquier Tenville, who factically led revolutional tribunal joined Comissaries and together they started huge wave of teror, naming it "tyranny of Robespierre". On the 9th Thermidore Robespiertists were arrested by comissaries, connected people and "swamp" - majority of deputies, who tried to join winner. Robespierre commented it so: "Republic died. Reign of Robbers began". Next day they were exe*uted.
