Theology too often leads to absurdity. Imagine this: there is something beyond matter and time. God IS, and we are all "dust of God"? Then our soul has always existed, and Christ, too, is dust of God. The problem is that here we stand outside of being; we exist "ex-stare," to stand outside. Christ would be more evolved than normal, in "being." Finally, eternity is not infinite time, but rather no time at all...
