The baby kareta kareta took its first strokes in the crystal clear waters, feeling a sense of freedom that it had never experienced before. As it navigated its new environment, it encountered a school of fish, and watched in wonder as they moved in unison, mesmerized by the magic of this new world.
But as the kareta kareta turned to swim back towards the safety of its nest, it knew that it was not alone. A sense of belonging filled its heart as it realized that it was a part of something much greater than itself. It was a part of a cycle that had been repeated countless times before and would continue for generations to come. It knew that one day it too would return to this beach, to lay its eggs and complete the circle of life.

Beautiful!👏🙌🎉I love these little creatures (Kareta Kareta) They come back to that place when they are grown up and lay their eggs at the same beach, and their youngens do the same, thus completing the circle😊🐢

The thing I love about this is how i instantly recall the back and forth, rocking motion of the sea when it's close to a shore, and that vivid recollection brings a rush of other sensory memories... The unmistakable smell, the way you can feel the shifting of the sand beneath your toes, the way you can stand where the swells roll in and feel your body gently lifted, over and over, each time a new one rushes through in it's journey to land.. so my point, lolll, is that it's very EVOCATIVE and I love that!!!
