This has been the generational home of the Hahn family since the late 1800's. It's located in a temperate rainforest region, about 5 miles inland from northwest coast of the Pacific Ocean.

Thalia is the hired, live-in housekeeper for James and Lorraine Hahn.
The Hahn's driveway is about a mile long and is not for the feint-hearted. The house is so isolated they rely on a small hydroelectric generator for power. Someone once called it the 'Hahn Monastery'. The name stuck and evolved to 'The Hahnestery'.
