Oestridel is a port city on the western edge of the Republic of Lanthdor and the far eastern border of Masa, set upon a river bordering the Kingdoms of Masa and Republic of Lanthdor. Oestridel is meant to mean "west ridge".


Over time the city crossed the river and now resides on both sides of it. The river flows southeast into the sea, with its origins coming from the far west of the kingdom, the massive freshwater Lake Okeanos, and flowing down a ravine that passes below Jeminol City.

Because of this massive wide river running across the Kingdom, it is used as a shipping port from the west coast of Masa to the sea. Oestridel is the furthest eastern step on that journey.


I really intended on this depicting the west side of the river rather than the east, but it looks like the ocean is visible in the background. However, the mountains in the background also justify why the city isn't built at the sea, so that's a neat touch.
