Brigadier-General Sir Harry Paget Flashman VC KCB KCIE (1822-1915) was a distinguished British officer who served in the Royal Army from 1840 to 1894.
He participated in many campaigns and battles across the world, including the First Anglo-Afghan War, the Indian Mutiny, the Crimean War, the American Civil War, the Taiping Rebellion, the Zulu War, and the First Boer War.
He was renowned for his bravery, leadership, and diplomatic skills, and received numerous awards and decorations, including the Victoria Cross, the highest military honor in the British Empire.
