Flying is awesome, but it's nice on occasion to just give your wings a break and feel the pavement underneath your feet.
In one of my previous lives, I was a wingless bird. A chicken. Not so much 'wingless' as flightless, but you know what I mean. I had a good and long life as a chicken, living in a Petting Zoo until the age of 14. 14! Can you imagine a teenaged chicken! Chickens actually do live, or rather can live until such an advanced age if they're, well, not eaten at a few months old by protein-hungry humans. My Life as a Teenaged Chicken is out soon in Hardback, Paperback and back to the longevity of birds...did you know that Liver Birds, both of them are over 114 years old!
