Ronnie "Red" Dalton

Out in the middle of the desert and tumbleweed, Red tracked the missing child to this building. It was dilapidated and looked to be on the verge of collapse.

Red pulled out the ratty journal in which he kept notes and illustrations of sigils with more notes inscribed. He made note of the runes and cast his steel gaze over them.

"Homicide's been over this," said the officer who accompanied him, "We got photos of all this pentagram stuff, Dalton, c'mon! It's way too hot out here to this!"

"It ain't a pentagram, dipstick," Red said as he made notes, "It's a rune stave an' not one the Vikings woulda used. If you throwbacks knew any-freakin'-thing, y'all mighta done caught up to 'er but, whoever this is that got young Janie...they're hooked into some black freakin' mojo, pal an' you better hope they're just delusional. And don't you dare start in on me 'bout my boots, Jenkins, I'm in no friggin' mood."
