Today's one of these days I feel like I'm my 15-year-old self again. Insecure, overwhelmed, ready to cry at a moment's notice because one these songs _is just written for me and how does he know how I feel god I wanna cry now._ And I'm crying. A lot.

Trauma does that. It doesn't leave wounds, it leaves scars that'll never quite heal. That'll leave you turning your head when you're going home alone on your own after dark. Scars that'll make you question your _self_ when things get out of hand. It comes crashing down upon you when you least expect it.

Today's one of these days. I'm okay with that. I don't need sympathy. I'm sharing my hurt in case you feel alone. You're not. The pain may stay but one day you'll be afloat again. Stay strong.
