This is inspired by a photo I had taken of a pile of tires that were dredged up from a stream in an area that was being developed for a thoroughfare. I couldn’t believe they found so many abandoned tires down the stretch of old road. Somehow the gathering of all these objects that were once useful and now are rubbish littering the road way became an interesting monument to neglect and obscurity. I had to take a picture of it . It was too interesting to pass up. But I did wonder why did so many people decide to make that area a dumping ground for useless tires and now that they have been piled into a heaping tower of rubber
no longer hidden by mud and foliage. What do you do with them? Make it art!
