One of my favourites from childhood!

Thank you.  Shame I didn't notice the challenge.  It was one of my favourite books as a child, too.  But then I found Tolkien (who was a close friend of CS Lewis) and I've not read any fiction other than Tolkien since!  That would have been around 1985.

Oh similar tastes there then! I'm a bit the same, more of a non fiction reader these days but got into Tolkien shorter stories like Smith of Wooten Major etc. I prefer to study herbal medicine and esoteric practice. Plus, so much online to absorb too.
