I try occasionally to get a good flower like this. You aced it. The border provides an interesting contrast.

I do think the greatest promote is your own start image. If that image is good and rich with possibilites  you hit the ground running,  creating. You're the best example of that. I'm learning  from you all the time. Always have perhaps too much to say in that direction. 

However, I love being surprised by what comes from a crappy start image. Those can be quite good, too. Especially if you combine it with a prompt that bears no resemblance to the image. But yes, a good start image is probably the most efficient.
