Michele: "Marina's out, Jack. She got the GT3 driver out, and she looks okay. Someone tell Sam. Marina looks good. Doesn't look like she's hurt."
Jack: "Okay. [deep breath] Thank god! Anyway, they red-flagged the race. She can take her time getting the car back. I'll let her know she did a good thing."
Sabine: "Yeah, I think we need to tell her she did good. She's got a huge heart! And a brave one!"

Great series of images. I'm reminded of the moment at the Nurburgring (covered in the film Rush) when the drivers pull Lauda out of his burning Ferrari. Or more tragically, David Purley's efforts in vain at Zandvoort in the early seventies. Fire was the hazard most feared by drivers of that era, mercifully less prevalent with modern safety measures. Marina with her back story as a trained paramedic would not have hesitated, faced with that scenario. This is a such a powerful image, with the burning Aston and the medical car arriving in the background, beneath the rain and grey clouds, and the rescued driver supported in Marina's arms. Well done. 👏

Someone tell Sam! Most important, they don't think about the race or positions lost, but about the people. They care for Marina, they care for Sam. Excellent! And Marina? Warm hearted, acting cold blooded - a true hero!
