Much to Cog's surprise, he was having a visitation, which only happens if the doors are shut and the cludgy's wonky.
Madame Franny Stein and her pet 'Monster' had arrived, she wanted to make a proposition, but Cog's politely declined explaining he was a married goat.
Although taken aback, Franny had another offer in mind; she wanted Cog's patent for Klevor Kloggs, citing, he was hideous bordering heinous, to which Cog's replied no it's insidious by terrorising, a new aftershave embalming lotion.
After several insults, bad puns, and the occasional innuendo, it was agreed the Klevor would assist Franny & Ann S. Trother in their work.

Quite right too. Between Boom-Bang & Buggerit, a backed-up Infernal Machine, and a married goat, it’s clear this was no day for propositions of any sort. Sensible man, Cogsworth.
