Varnyx Bloodscale was born during the eclipse of three moons over the ancient continent of Draelmaar—a sign the seers called The Crimson Omen. From the moment of his hatching, his scales bore the deep red hue of fresh blood, and it is said that his roar silenced thunder. Varnyx grew to embody wrath and judgment, carving his name into the annals of history as a living calamity.

He does not hoard gold, but memories—relics of kingdoms he has scorched to ash, banners of fallen empires, bones of kings turned to dust. Now, he slumbers beneath the ruins of Valdakar, a city of fire and steel, waiting for the world to forget its fear so he may remind it once more.
