This is beautiful. The golden glow is perfect.
I read your entry " Sword and Sorcery".
"And so, there it hung. Not peace, but stasis. One which required but a pebble's fall to disturb." I found this line to be very insightful. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, is it not.
I spent time in churches and Cathedrals as a child, and statues intrigued me. Anyhoo due to this influence I composed, performed and recorded some music, and created some Ai art to accompany. There is a touch of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, where Quasimodo asks " Why am I not stone like these, to which I reimagined as a Gargoyle becoming alive .....pls see link below
