The prompt was the title of a children's fantasy novel by Edward Eager, of which I have fond memories. (Haven't read it in ages, though -- ought to find a copy and brush up.) Prompt magic seems to have expanded the idea of "half magic" into "this woman is half-dragon." When I checked, I found -- rather to my surprise -- that NC already has a tag for "half-dragon-woman." Who knew?
