Viridicos & the Oracle Stone

Known in his time as a long time practitioner of conjuration, divination, and illusion schools of magic; Viridicos was actually a dual specialist in the non-standardized avenues of magic referred to by Hedge Wizards of Erfworld as Eyemancy & Hocus Pocus.

With these avenues of magic at his command, he could not only clearly observe the tapestry of fate but navigate it to various ends whose outcomes he could reliable predict and control almost as if he were conjuring the future he envisioned into being. It is unclear if his clarity wasn't some form of elaborate illusion and luck however and many scholars attempt to track down evidence of his works in order to settle this debate.

One of the objects he left behind, was the Oracle Stone, a magical crystal sphere that was imbued with his unique perspectives on magic. Those that have managed to track down this artifact have attested to its ability to reveal future events with startling clarity but the Stone always vanishes soon after.
