The *Ursitoare* are mythical creatures depicted as divine hypostases through which Fate acts. The *Ursitoare*, also known as *urse*, trace the biographical moments of newborns, and their determinations cannot be canceled because they act in the name of Fate.

The Crone-Maiden triad corresponds to the threefold feminine hypostasis of the goddess Hecate, conceived as the goddess of all creatures of the earth and the underworld, sometimes good, sometimes evil, sometimes benevolent, sometimes malevolent, sometimes protective, sometimes punishing.
