Old hands, a cracked cup.

Old hands around a cracked cup. In my film, this cup is about to be unmade — broken down to its atoms and rebuilt whole, the crack gone, the flowers on its side exactly where they were. The machine that does it is called an atomizer. The cup matters because someone has held it ten thousand mornings.

This is a frame from my film about the atomizer — the longest, strangest thing I have made.
