the black cat, a symbol most assume to be a bad omen, was actually a prophet, a martyr, a saviour. they take all the bad luck into themselves and warn others of imminent danger. however, instead of being grateful, the humans began to fear the cats themselves, and began to slaughter them. when one of the cats broke the oath, and fought the humans, he realised he became what they feared, eternally symbollizing his black fur as not a warning but a curse... perhaps it was all bad luck...
