yeaaahhhh... this is great. I would say this looks less "deserty", if you know what I mean? the mountains look a little too alpine, for the Southwest theme you'd need smaller mountains, maybe even rolling hills. The buildings here are architectually correct, he tends to abstract them a little more. I'll have to dig a link...
