Father and Mother Turnip had morphed into righteous agents of JC & Co. to deal with the unwanted intruder in the meadow. Mother Turnip prayed and prayed, imploring the unwanted visitors to leave their land. They both were pouring with holy sweat water and felt satisfied they had driven the evil out.
For a moment, the UFO ship settled quietly on the ground, and they both thought everything might be okay. They looked at the spent metal disk behind them, looked to the sky, and then looked meaningfully at each other.
Father Turnip stared hard at his humble shovel; his gesture rich with meaning. He would dig a hole so big that the UFO would never be found again, and the meadow would forever be known as the Dead Lands.
Unfortunately, Father and Mother Turnip were unaware that there was more than one UFO vessel, and that their daughter Eve and Fluffy the cat were in trouble.
